PT06: Independent School District Fleet Management
Need Area Description
Independent School Districts do not have automatic transit maintenance scheduling and monitoring but they do have a system inside of the transit management system that tracks maintenance on vehicles. They do not have on-board condition sensors. Hardware and software in the Transit Management Subsystem processes this data and schedules preventative and corrective maintenance. The service package also supports the day to day management of the transit fleet inventory, including the assignment of specific transit vehicles to blocks.
