ADOT Truck Parking Availability System (TPAS) on I-10
Description
In order to improve efficiency, economic competitiveness, wayfinding and safety, Arizona Department of Transportation in collaboration with the I–10 Corridor Coalition will develop and deploy a system to provide truck drivers with reliable real–time information to make smarter more efficient parking decisions. The system will identify available parking options and the capacity of truck parking lots using advanced parking technologies and communicate parking availability to commercial vehicle operators in real–time.
