| 26. JUSTIFICATION |
| Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) was the successful recipient of a National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) America the Beautiful Grant (Grant ID 5200.24.079727) to upgrade wildlife fencing, wildlife escape ramps, and double-wide cattle guards, on Interstate 17 (I-17) from Woods Canyon (milepost 316) to Munds Park (milepost 322). The Project will include approximately six miles of upgraded eight-foot high wildlife fencing, on either side of I-17 from just south of the Woods Canyon Bridge (MP 317.01) to the Munds Park Traffic Interchange (MP 322.72); 12 miles total. IGA 25-0011059-I with AZGFD is being finalized. |
