Establish New Project |
26. JUSTIFICATION |
This project will design the initial phase of a new system interchange at State Route (SR) 30 (Tres Rios) and SR 202 L South Mountain (SR 202 L). Includes NB and SB on-ramps from SR 202 L to WB SR 30, on-ramps from EB SR 30 to NB and SB SR 202 L, and SB and NB frontage roads along SR 202 L. Ramps and Frontage Roads will span over the Salt River and over various levels of the interchange. From the SR 30/SR 202 L interchange to 67th Avenue project will include three new general purpose lanes in each direction with 50-foot wide open graded median with cable barriers, and a TI at 67th Avenue.
