25. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST

Establish a new Project.

26. JUSTIFICATION

Funding is needed for intersection reconstruction of McKellips Boulevard and Main Drive. The intersection washed out due to 2022 Monsoon flooding. The reconstruction was done immediately by the Pinal County. The reconstruction work included removing temporary asphalt and storm debris, preparing subgrade, placing walls, aggregate base and asphalt concrete. The emergency declaration for this incident was issued by the Governor on September 15, 2022.
