25. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST

Establish a new project.

26. JUSTIFICATION

Senate Bill 1820 Section 33 has funding appropriations from the State General fund in fiscal year 2020-2021 to the Department of Transportation for highway projects. Part A of Section 33 lists highway projects to be funded. Item #21 listed, Study Guardrail - Shoulder of State Route 377 from Holbrook to Heber for the amount of $140K. The RSA will perform a formal safety examination of the existing SR 377 and look at options to enhance safety.
