| 26. JUSTIFICATION |
| Arizona is an FHWA Intersection and Vulnerable Road User (VRU) Focus State resulting from a high number intersection and VRU fatalities. The ICE tool is intended to address safety concerns in both areas. The program would be developed by a consultant. It would also involve input of current traffic and crash data and future traffic conditions. The anticipated timeline for development is expected to be 12 months. It is also anticipated that the final tool would be made available for use by other local public agencies within the state. Consultant:$450K Staff:$50K |
