25. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST

Establish new project.

26. JUSTIFICATION

This HSIP funded project for the City of Phoenix will install additional signal heads and crosswalk illumination, upgrade ramps to meet ADA standards, and add flashing left turn arrows at three intersections. The three intersections along 43rd Avenue are at Northern Avenue, Glendale Avenue, and Bethany Home Road.
