25. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST
Establish construction project.
26. JUSTIFICATION
This emergency relief (ER) project will construct permanent restorations to drainage features along US60 between MP 241-242. Features were damaged by flooding, which was a direct cause of the burn scars from the Telegraph fires event. The construction advertisement is scheduled for June 2024. During design it was discovered that the work limits needed to be revised to MP 241 - 242. The ER declaration was on 6/4/2021. ICAP is included in this request.

Increase Design Budget.
26. JUSTIFICATION
This emergency relief (ER) project will construct permanent restorations to drainage features along US60 between MP 241-245. Features were damaged by flooding, which was a direct cause of the burn scars from the Telegraph fires event. Existing box culverts at 3 roadway crossings cannot accommodate the required design standard 50-yr flood event. The box culverts need to be replaced with single span bridges. The increase in budget covers bridge design, Geotech drilling/analysis/report, and consultant fee. The ER declaration was on 6/4/2021. Staff: $518K Consultant: $100k ICAP: $65k

Establish new project.
26. JUSTIFICATION
This project will repair embankment along US60 between MP 241-245 that was eroded by flooding, which was a direct cause of the burn scars from the Telegraph fires. The project will consist of drainage improvements at 9 water crossings. All work will be completed within Right-of-Way and utility relocation is anticipated at Boolean Plaza Bridge. The ER declaration was on 6/4/2021. Staff: $257K Consultant: $130k ICAP: $41k
