Change scope and type of work.
26. JUSTIFICATION
The project was originally programmed as a Bridge Rehabilitation project. During scoping and preparation of the Bridge Selection Report, bridge replacement alternatives were analyzed and ultimately selected due to the Little CO River Bridge being scour critical. Also identified during scoping, an alternative to reduce costs for the Five Mile Wash bridge was achieved by replacing the bridge with a box culvert. Request to change the type of work to "Bridge Replacement".

The Bridge Group and District have requested additional alternative analysis for addressing the bridge replacements in an attempt to reduce construction costs and improve constructability. These alternatives and final recommendations will be documented in the Bridge Selection Report. In addition, the original PM consultant estimate assumed less hours than what was negotiated as it relates to design, environmental and geotechnical costs. Consultant = $181K ICAP = $19K
