25. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST

Establish a New Project

26. JUSTIFICATION

The City of Yuma is preparing a Design Concept Report (DCR)for 40th Street from Avenue 6E to Fortuna Road. The project length is 5 miles and the expected roadway configuration is 5 lanes (2 travel lanes each direction with center turn lane). ADOT will be reviewing the DCR and associated Environmental documents for conformance with the NEPA process. The DCR will be used to apply for Grant funding for the remainder of the design and construction. Staff: $30K
