| The project needs to be deferred to FY23 3Q due to minor changes after Stage IV, 404 application review and the team needed additional time to complete design. Several major item unit cost estimates increased between Stage III (April 2022) and Post-Stage IV (Jan 2023). Those items are: Roadway excavation, Embankment spillway, Temporary concrete barrier (installation and removal), Temporary preformed marking, SWZ system, Bridge repair (PPC deck overlay) and Polyester polymer concrete bridge deck repair. ICAP is included in this request. |

| The stage III estimate includes the number of roadway items (roadway excavation; AB, AC; guardrail and embankment items ) with detailed quantities and the latest unit cost. This amount exceeds the current program included under a 30 percent contingency for unidentified items in Stage II. ICAP is included in this request. These changes are included in the Tentative Program. These changes will be placed in the FY23 - FY27 Five Year Program. |

| After the stage II field review, more erosion and scour/void were recognized at Wash, Moenkopi Wash & Five Mile Wash Bridges. ADOT Bridge Design indicated that additional storm water control items are needed. These include adding under bridge grout rip-rap, fixing end of bridge barrier, using ground penetrating radar for voids, bringing eroded embankment back to grade and replacing joint on wing wall and abutment. The original estimate developed in current program did not include this additional scope, a 30 percent contingency for unidentified items, and 3 percent inflation factor for year of expenditure. ICAP is included in this request. Contingent on PPAC approval this will be included in the FY22 - FY26 Five Year Program. |

| The original scoping and design budget is only for Wash Bridge # 582 replacement on SR 89 MP 482. Based upon the latest Bridge field inspection in early March 2020, within project vicinity, rehab work on two other bridges is identified as needed. Request to establish the project with the following scope. Wash Bridge Structure # 582 at MP 481.89 on SR89 � PCC overlay and substructure repair. Moenkopi Wash Bridge#2452 at MP 477.12 on SR89 � PCC overlay Five Mile Wash Bridge#697 at MP 471.73 on SR89 - PCC overlay and wing wall separation. repairing with concrete patching. Request to establish the project with the following name: "Wash, Moenkopi Wash & Five Mile Wash Bridges". Staff - $410K Consultant - $45K (Environmental and compliance review) ICAP - $45K |
