| Change project name and scope. |
| 26. JUSTIFICATION |
| The project was programmed based on the scope of work identified in the scoping letter. After preliminary survey it was identified the guardrail needs replacement because it will not meet MASH requirements. Additionally, the bridge concrete approach slab requires replacement due to a broken connection resulting in excessive joint opening. The project name will be updated to "Sand Tanks Wash Bridge WB" to reflect official wash and ADOT structure names. These changes will be placed in the FY23 - FY27 Five Year Program. |

| 26. JUSTIFICATION |
| The project was programmed based on underestimated unit prices per square foot of bridge. In addition, the programming estimate did not include contingency for unknown items, ICAP, and cost for year of expenditure. The updated construction estimate includes ICAP, contingency for unknown items, and cost for year of expenditure. ICAP is included in this request. Contingent upon PPAC approval, this will be included in the FY22-FY26 Five Year Program. |
