Change type of work, increase budget
26. JUSTIFICATION
This bridge rehabilitation project has been elevated to a bridge replacement to address structural deficiencies and condition of the existing bridge, originally constructed in 1967. New structure number is #20246. Construction cost is estimated to be $13M in FY25. Estimate includes contingency, inflation for year of expenditure, and ICAP. Change Type of Work to: Bridge Replacement. These changes will be included in the FY24 - FY28 Five Year Program.

26. JUSTIFICATION
During scoping, various alternatives were evaluated including deck replacement, superstructure replacement, and full bridge replacement. It was found that the bridge warranted a full replacement. Additional staff time is needed to design the full bridge replacement. Change Type of Work to: Replace Bridge Staff: $160K ICAP: $17K
