| Defer Project to FY 27. |
| 26. JUSTIFICATION |
| This is a local public agency project sponsored by Santa Cruz County and includes a new bridge crossing of Potrero Creek and the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR). Coordination with the UPRR and right of way acquisition will not be complete in time to advertise this project in FY 26. The local funding has been deferred to FY 27 through a SEAGO TIP Amendment. Deferral of the federal grants has been confirmed with Federal Highway Administration. The request is to defer this project to the 3rd quarter of FY 27. |

| This new bridge in Santa Cruz County will span both the floodplain and the Union Pacific Railroad for approximately 1500 feet. An existing bridge and railroad crossing will be removed. A new roadway, sidewalks and bike lanes associated with the new bridge will restore community connectivity. The project location is approximately 1.8 miles east of I-19 and the Ruby Rd traffic interchange. Consultant: 2935K |
