25. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST

Establish New Project

26. JUSTIFICATION

Request is to establish the design for truck parking expansion at EB&WB Burnt Well Rest Area along I-10 and EB&WB Meteor Crater Rest Area along I-40. The four sites will require additional ROW, therefore Environmental needs to get started. The project is programmed in the 2025-2029 Tentative 5-Yr Program, STIP ID 104375. I-10, Burnt Well Rest Area, MP 86, and I-40, Meteor Crater Rest Area, MP 235 ICAP is included in this request.
