25. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST
Establish a new project.
26. JUSTIFICATION
This project will install DMS, CCTV, and RWIS in clustered areas around the state as part of the TSMO ITS Master Plan. Device needs and locations were identified with feedback from the Districts, Regions, and other stakeholders. This included DMS for detouring and traffic incident management, general information, and weather alerts, CCTV to cover needed blind spots and validate DMS messages, and roadside weather information systems (RWIS) for climate and road surface awareness. Consultant = $230K Staff = $40K ICAP = $30K
