| Change Scope Reduce Budget |
| 26. JUSTIFICATION |
| Following discussions with the upcoming I-10 Widening project in the same area, as the construction of I-10 widening project is anticipated to start construction in two years, the scope of this project will be reduced to mill and replace only on the mainline lanes and replacing only 2" thickness, which is anticipated to last until the construction of the widening project starts. The widening project will complete the long term improvements of the items reduced from the scope of this project, while using the excess funds from this project`s scope reduction. |
