Establish New Project. |
26. JUSTIFICATION |
Both Design and Construction are programmed in FY23. This action is to establish Design in FY22. This HSIP Project is to install centerline rumble strips from Grant Woods Parkway to I-17 on SR 169. The milepost limits are MP 3.5 to MP 15 (11.5 miles). This road safety improvement project was identified through the state network crash data screening process and meets all requirements of Title 23. The centerline rumble strip will give drivers an audible warning and is a proven countermeasure to reduce head on and sideswipe crashes. Staff $67K Consultant $15K ICAP $9K |
