| 26. JUSTIFICATION |
| This is an HSIP project to construct a climbing lane on WB I-10 from SR 90 to SR 80. Construction is scheduled for FY24. The Stage IV estimate came in higher than the programmed budget due to increase in unit prices and quantities. During preliminary scoping, only quantities for an additional lane were considered. To meet design standards, additional items are required, including minor reprofiling of US80 ramp, roadway embankment, culvert extension, light pole/sign pole relocation outside of clear zone, and additional MOT operations. ICAP is included in this request. |
