| Additional construction funds are needed as a result of increased unit prices and increased quantities for the asphaltic concrete and AR-ACFC bid items. The milling quantity also increased because of an error in calculations at Stage III. ICAP is included in this request. Contingent on approval by MAG Regional Council on April 27, 2022. |

| 26. JUSTIFICATION |
| The pre-scoping document used for programming the initial funding amount was revised based on field visit performed by the design team in January 2021. The design team revised the scoping document and cost estimate to include the bridge barrier replacement on the cross road bridges, cattle guard replacements, and markers at the drainage facilities along I-10. The estimate also includes updates to match the current unit costs. An increase in the programmed construction amount is needed to cover the difference between the pre-scoping estimate and the updated scoping estimate. ICAP is included in this request. Contingent on approval by MAG Regional Council on 4/28/2021. |

| In 2020, the I-10 pavement condition between MP 90 and 100 in the EB and WB direction was evaluated and it was determined that a pavement rehabilitation is necessary to maintain the structural integrity of the highway. The scope of the project is to mill and fill I-10 in order to rehabilitate the pavement. Request to change project name to "443rd Ave - E of Wintersburg Rd". Staff $333K Consultant $45K ICAP $38K |
