| Establish New Project. |
| 26. JUSTIFICATION |
| City of Tucson (COT) is currently administering a construction project to reconstruct the 22nd St Bridge over SR 210 and widen 22nd St to 3 lanes in each direction between Kino Parkway and Tucson Boulevard. A $6,758,000 PAG 2.6pct allocation will fund work exclusively within ADOT Right of Way, including improvements to the SR 210 roadway and ramps. All other project segments and Rights of Way belong to the COT and will be funded through the RAISE Grant and other secured sources. Under a separate agreement, COT will execute the construction and submit reimbursement invoices to PAG through an established review and approval process. ADOT SC District will issue an encroachment permit, review the design plans and specifications, and coordinate with the COT. Upon completing a final inspection and project acceptance, ADOT will assume ownership, operation, and maintenance of its ROW, excluding COT-owned areas. ADOT and PAG have verified project eligibility for the PAG 2.6pct funding and confirmed that COT will administer the project under the CA program. |
