25. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST
Change in Project Name. Change in Project Limit.
26. JUSTIFICATION
This request is to change project name and project limit to be only at MP5 and exclude MP13 from the project. During cultural survey, the environmental team sub-consultant found a large site at MP13 containing artifacts that were not found during a 2009 cultural survey for this same project. The CDS funding expires in September of 2026 and there is not enough time to issue environmental clearance if MP13 is included in the project. Change project name to: "DAVIS RD; MP5"

26. JUSTIFICATION
This request is to change construction of the project from FY26 to FY27. During cultural survey, the environmental team sub-consultant found a large site containing artifacts that were not found during a 2009 cultural survey for this same project. As a result, more investigation than was initially expected is required in order to complete the environmental clearance.

The project will be designed by Cochise county and the County is in the process of executing the design contract with the consultant firm. An advertisement date in FY25 is not feasible.
