| Establish New Project. |
| 26. JUSTIFICATION |
| Commerce Street is directly above the Mule Gulch Channel. The decking of the channel that forms the Commerce Street surface is composed of railroad timbers, concrete, and asphalt. The work proposed on this project consists of replacing the channel decking that forms Commerce Street. The project is approximately 520 feet in length, from 54 Main Street to 2 Main Street. The Local Agency has received funding through an AZ SMART grant for the design of this project and agrees to use these funds for the development of a Project Assessment. AZ SMART funds will also be used for the ADOT PDA Fee. The project is currently only funded for design. The name on the original project application was, "Commerce St; 72 Main St - Lavender Pit". The project limits are Commerce St between 54 Main St and 2 Main St. Consultant - $178.5K |
