| This project is funded by Legislative Capital Outlay appropriation and additional funds were allocated to include improvements at the Shedd Road and SR 87 intersection. The additional funds will allow for preliminary engineering to determine right of way and utility relocation needs at this intersection as well as to prepare final design plans, estimates, and specifications to a Stage IV (95pct) stage. | The Final Scoping Letter was issued in October 2023. The project will consist of widening, repaving, and signalizing the intersection of SR 87 and Arica Road, drainage improvements, utility relocations, and new right of way. This project is funded by Legislative Capital Outlay Appropriation. Based on the Scoping Letter cost estimate, allocated funding will allow construction at the SR 87 and Arica Road intersection only. In coordination with the City of Coolidge and Pinal County, Arica Road has been prioritized for construction. The request also includes changing the project name to `Arica Road`. Shedd Rd intersection has been removed from the project. Staff: $125k Consultant: $417k ICAP: $58k |
