25. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST

Establish New Project.

26. JUSTIFICATION

This request is to fund the USFWS liaison position (1 biologist) for Fiscal Year 2027. Funding this position reduces overall review times at the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and establishes a priority list for expedited review of particular projects. This also allows USFWS personnel to assist in developing programmatic consultation to further expedite routine reviews.
