| Establish new project and change project name. |
| 26. JUSTIFICATION |
| This project will construct the permanent repair at the westbound I-10 bridge with US 191. On May 3, 2023, the westbound I-10 bridge was damaged when a semi-tractor trailer hit the support structure. The ER declaration was signed on 05/24/2023. Emergency relief funds are requested for the reconstruction of the north pier and for the removal and replacement of the steel superstructure and bridge deck. For consistency with the federal authorization, the project name will be changed to `US 191 TI SW of Willcox`. ICAP is included in the request. |
