| 26. JUSTIFICATION |
| ADOT`s pilot project for the Wrong Way Detection (WWD) System on I-17 from I-10 to SR 101 went live in 2018. Since then, the thermal cameras have lost visual quality and the model is now end-of-life. This project will replace 51 existing WWD cameras. These 51 cameras will be swapped out and will be kept in the same location. This will avoid ground disturbance, new Right of Way, and the need for plan sheets. This phase of the project will procure the cameras. This is a procurement project. ICAP included in request. |
