| This modernization project will construct a passing lane on US 70 approximately 6 miles northwest of Bylas. ICAP and TERO tax were not included in the original cost estimate. These two items account for the requested budget increase. Update BMP to 287.97 and Project Length to 1.01 miles. ICAP is included in this request. |

| This is a modernization project to construct a passing lane on US 70 approximately 6 miles northwest of Bylas. This segment of US 70 was identified in the Statewide Climbing and Passing Lane Study as a priority area. This area has post-consolidation subsidence issues (clayey soils) that will need to be addressed. Construction for this project is anticipated in FY 25. Staff: $128k Consultant: $370k ICAP: $52k |
