Establish design project. |
26. JUSTIFICATION |
This is a modernization project to construct a passing lane on US 70 approximately 6 miles northwest of Bylas. This segment of US 70 was identified in the Statewide Climbing and Passing Lane Study as a priority area. This area has post-consolidation subsidence issues (clayey soils) that will need to be addressed. Construction for this project is anticipated in FY 25. Staff: $128k Consultant: $370k ICAP: $52k |
