25. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST

Establish New Project.

26. JUSTIFICATION

This request is to replace the existing 20 FLIR Traffic Sense 1 cameras with 10 modern Trafficsense AI cameras. The more modern cameras have AI analytics capabilities. New foundations, steel poles, and conduits will be placed to relocate wrong-way detection further down the exit ramp. This will allow for more stable mounting positions with less occlusion and provide functional separation from the traffic signal presence detection. Staff: $45K Consultant: $147K ICAP: $12K
