Change scope and type of work. |
26. JUSTIFICATION |
A Road Safety Assessment was performed in March 2016 which recommended a pedestrian path separated from the roadway however, the November 2018 HSIP application request was for shoulder widening. At the kickoff for the 01D project, stakeholders and team members requested that a separated path be considered again. The team agreed that a separated path provided enhanced safety over shoulder widening. This request is to change the scope and type of work to "Lighting and Pedestrian Path". |

26. JUSTIFICATION |
A Road Safety Assessment was performed in March 2016 which recommended a pedestrian path separated from the roadway. However, the November 2018 HSIP application request was for shoulder widening. Upon further discussion with the stakeholders and project team, it was agreed that the project scope should be include a separated pedestrian path with lighting. The Initial PA estimate was developed for a separated pedestrian path with lighting and has detailed the plan for providing electrical service to the ADOT R/W. This request is based on the IPA estimate and includes ICAP. Contingent upon approval by PPAC, this will be included in the FY22 - FY26 Five Year Program. |
