Increase Budget Change Scope Change the Project Name
26. JUSTIFICATION
ADOT`s Urban Pump House Operations has made the 3rd Ave Pump Station location as their top priority for replacement. Based on the Stage IV estimate, additional construction funds are needed for replacement of the pumps at the 3rd avenue location. The original scope was to replace pump stations at three locations - 3rd Ave, 3rd St, and 16th St. No bids were received on the original advertisement. This request is to change the scope to replace the pumps at 3rd Ave instead of at all three locations. Change name to "3rd Ave Pump Station". ICAP is included in this request. This is contingent upon MAG Regional Council approval on May 26, 2021.

Previous advertisement of this project in Aug. 2015 resulted in no interested bidders. The project has been rescoped based on input from District and TSMO. The new scope will create three separate bid ready packages for rehab and/or replacement of the primary components of the pump stations at 3rd St, 3rd Ave and 16th Street. The 3rd St. project is planned for advertisement this Fiscal Year. $165k = Consultant $75k = Staff $25k = ICAP
