Dealer Application Overview
Prospective Arizona Automobile Dealers submit applications online, reducing paperwork and streamlining the application process overall. While they still must obtain fingerprint cards, most required documentation can be uploaded as part of the online application process.
To begin the application process, Dealers will need to access the online Dealer site called ADOT Force.
Click each section below for detailed instructions.
Go to ADOT Force and click the Sign Up link to create your log in. Applicants and existing Dealers use this site to submit new applications and to make changes to existing licenses, including submitting plate applications, changing contact info, and various other functions.
Once a new application is submitted with all required documentation and photos, the Dealer Licensing Unit (DLU) will process the application and inform the applicant of the status. Applicants may also monitor the status of submitted applications in ADOT Force.
In addition to the dealer access to ADOT Force, the DLU will set up an organization account in AZ MVD Now for the prospective dealership and email log in details to the applicant. Initially this will be used to fund your account to pay for related dealership application fees.
The email used for the Dealer Customer Account will be your business (dealer) email address. With that email and a password provided to you by the Dealer Licensing Unit you will be able to sign into your organization account. DO NOT use the Activate Your Account link in AZ MVD Now. You will be provided your log in credentials and will just click Sign In with those credentials provided to you. |
With an organization account log in, the Dealer can transact all business on behalf of the Dealership thru the organization account instead of their personal Individual account.
This helps to separate funds, and provide proper tracking for what business is conducted on whose behalf.
Applicant will also be emailed an invoice with the total amount due for application fee, dealer plates, and other associated MVD fees. Applicant will fund that amount to their organization account in AZ MVD Now.
