The proposed work is located in Mohave County on Interstate 15 (I-15) approximately 0.5 mile northeast of Littlefield. The project begins at milepost 8.40 (NB) and ends at milepost 9.30 (SB), a distance of approximately 0.90 miles. The work consists of replacing the existing fivespan, steel girder Virgin River Bridge No. 1, Structure #1089, with a three-span, steel girder superstructure with new substructure, Structure #20196. The work includes the reconstruction of the main line lanes on the approach roadways to match the new bridge section. The work also includes installation of new asphaltic concrete pavement with asphaltic concrete friction course, guardrail, pavement marking, signing, seeding, work site restoration, the establishment of a new vegetation area, and other related work.
